Welcome to our “advice” blog concerning sex for couples. We are Jeff and Cindy. We are a real couple, with real life intimacy stories and issues, and we want to develop a community of people sharing information, stories, and advice regarding our sex and intimate lives.
First, some up front disclosure: Jeff and Cindy are not our real names. Anyone crazy enough to put out this much information on themselves should never use their real names, so we chose not to. But we are real. We’ve been married under 10 years, we have kids, we have jobs, and we have real life experiences. Don’t hate us for wanting to be anonymous, but join us in our discussions.
We promise to always be real with everyone….with the exception of our names, of course.
And we do this for a couple of reasons:
1. We are going to be sharing a lot of intimate details with everyone. I think we deserve some privacy as to our real identites.
and
2. When our kids get older, and when their friends get older, the last thing we want them to do is discover this website with our name and stories plastered all over it. Consider this us trying not to create undo embarrassment for our kids later in life.
But this blog is hardly going to be about us imparting sex advice. We are not sex therapist. We are not world renowned experts on sex and intimacy.
What we are though is a couple that has their ups and downs within life.
So the intent of this blog is to share the highs and lows of our sex lives, and how we get through some of the lows and how we enjoyed some of the highs.
And we want you all to contribute too! All of our post will be open for comments, and we will respond and interact throughout each comment thread.
Throughout the blog we will also post resources, eBooks, and other things that help us keep our sex lives thriving. We invite you to check them out. They may help make your sex life better too!
We also plan to do monthly reviews of sex toys and games. To help us keep this blog going we ask you to support us by purchasing through our blog if you find one that you think will help make your sex life more exciting.
I hope you all engage us as we talk about our love lives, share a bit about our fantasies, and even live some of them out.
Finally, realize that we may not always agree. We are a husband/wife team, and there are many, many times when we do not see eye to eye on issues in intimacy. We will try to post both of our views as often as possible, and we will many, many times be blogging separately (but sometimes about the same thing).
